Land Acknowledgment

At Boujee, we celebrate the quiet strength of matriarchs, the tenderness of raising children, and the importance of building community through care. 

As a mother-and-daughter passion project, we hold close the values of nurturing, connection, belonging, and intergenerational wisdom — values deeply rooted in relationships to land, family, and community.

We respectfully acknowledge that Boujee operates on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo First Nations.

 As mothers raising children in this community, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to live, create, and grow on these lands. We honour the Indigenous peoples who have cared for them since time immemorial, and we remain committed to continued learning, meaningful relationship-building, and walking forward with humility, care, and respect.
